Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced technical professional to provide hardware, software, peripheral and network support to onsite and remote computer users.

Position Requirements:

  • Experience or knowledge of developing on a Microsoft .Net platform
  • Experience with or knowledge of C/C++/C#

  • Minimum of 7 years of IT experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Visual Basic, MS Access and HTML/XML, development best practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent combination of education/certification(s) and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Stay abreast of new technologies that affect the Supply Chain through literature/publications, training, and conferences.
  • Support the definition of business requirements by consulting with stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams to obtain a clear understanding of the business needs.
  • Work with users to solve IT related issues as called into AutoNation Help Desk
  • Provide second level help desk support and issue resolution for custom developed planning solutions as well as SAP ERP 6.0 in the areas of Plant Maintenance and Procurement.
  • Maintain 90% on time resolution of all tickets from Help Desk
  • Serve as the technical lead on projects providing analysis, system design options and solutions. Support and participate in technical analysis, design, programming, testing and performance tuning.
  • Ensure dealership staff follow protocol for trouble resolution by calling Help Desk for any and all IT related issues

Salary: 19,000.00 – 45,000.00 USD /year
