We are looking for an organized Export Coordinator who can handle purchase orders for grocery stores overseas. Ability to handle a high volume of emails, basic computer proficiency including typing skills and being knowledgeable in Excel is a MUST.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Record dispatches, arrivals and unloading of inbound containers at DC
- Process documents for export shipments
- Calculate measurements and costs for international export shipments
- Collaborate with China Office and US Warehouse staff to expedite shipments
- Code and process freight bills
- Generate container report for use by organization
- Manage daily container shipments from overseas vendors
Position Requirements:
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize and strong organizational skills
- Must be a self-starter and work independently
- Excellent written and oral communications, multi-tasking, initiative and strong attention to detail required
- Experience with SAP, AS400, and other software systems commonly used in distribution.
- Proven experience with MS Office (Access, Excel and Word)
