Job Summary:

The Facility Security Officer will serve as part of a key team as a technical expert on security and government clearance for All Star Metals LLC to work on classified project(s) for the Department of Defense.​

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Primary point of contact for alarm activation notifications
  • Responsible to author facility evacuation plan
  • Trains company personnel on security awareness and security compliance
  • Prepares and maintains various security forms
  • Maintain personnel security files for all programs
  • Administer facility security management plan, implement facility controls in place to secure and prevent access to prohibited areas.​
  • Manage badge and access control identification systems
  • Issuance and accountability of employee and visitor badges
  • Oversee the administrative and safeguarding of classified information for the company

Position Requirements:

  • Must possess outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Facility Security Officer Certification
  • Must be a self-starter who can demonstrate initiative and work independently without direct supervision
  • Knowledge of NISPOM, DOD security regulations and Executive Orders
  • Ability to multitask
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/combined education of which at least 7-10 years must be in Department of Defense related security administration

Work Hours: Hours will include the possibility of evening and weekend work
