Job Summary:
A Pricing Specialist performs the necessary due diligence to ensure all pricing sources are reviewed, analyzed and compared/contrasted before relevant information is released to the Senior Specialist, Fund Accounting and the client.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure store is compliant with daily cleaning activities
- Ensure store meets Store Compliance Audit requirements
- Executes all activities related to Risk Management and Safety
- Communicates successes, opportunities and solutions to the Manager to drive business results
- Utilizes recovery statements to minimize external loss
- Practices and ensures all company policies and procedures are followed
- Opens the store in accordance with company standards
- Performs Leader on Duty responsibilities
- Communicates successes, opportunities and solutions to ASM or Store Manager to drive results
- Partners with Merchandise leaders to ensure proper flexing of clearance merchandise
- Ensures efficiencies in merchandise handling to meet payroll budget and efficiency goals
- Ensures productivity goals are met while adhering to company defined best practices
- Understands and utilizes reports to direct markdowns, signage, and marketing
- Work in partnership with ASM and Store Manager to ensure movement of merchandise meets company Presentation Guidelines
Position Requirements:
- Self-starter, highly motivated, able to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
- Superior organizational and time management skills and extreme attention to detail
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Extensive experience with Excel
- CPCM and / or courses in contract administration desirable
- Candidate must have a solid understanding of federal contracts and pricing knowledge of FAR, CAS, and DCAA requirements
- 1 to 3 years experience with pricing and proposal preparation
- 5 to 7 years experience in Contract / Subcontract Administration, Schedules, GWACs and ID/IQs
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline preferred
