Job Summary
A project engineer has a lot of responsibilities to do and they come in different forms. Their responsibilities may range from team directing or directing an individual and of course keeping the status of the project on track for them to evaluate the factors for the jobs in the future. They are also responsible for making sure that the different parts of the projects are progressing and that the project is working as a whole. Usually a project engineer will definitely get involved in every project level from production to concept and everything in-between.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure that the entire project will fit for purpose and that they will adhere to the schedule and budget of the project
- Ensure that all the requirements that are legal and the safety objectives are being observed
- Account the tasks for engineering for you to make sure that the contract requirements will be meet
- You are the one responsible in developing a specific project procedure for it to be carried out during the work
- You should be the one to interpret the requirements of the client as well as addressing and identifying the parameter designs
- You should also make sure that all the engineering problems have a solution that should immediately be implemented
- Organize, evaluate and prioritize all the work within the scheduled project
- You are responsible in taking care of the team of training and engineers and as well as mentoring the engineers which are junior
