Job Summary:
Client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Telecommunications Engineer / Technician with experience in the site development of Wireless Telecommunications / Cell Site projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Issues ASRs with LECs in LEC system for both special and switched access orders
- Update the transport database (NRM) for type 2A, 2B, 2C, 800, Type 1, LD and any other auxiliary trunks
- Updates various databases on project activities related to RIP
- Create engineering design packages for project related activities
- Issue and coordinate internal work orders and assist switch operations and provisioning
- Allocate circuit facilities assignment (CFA) for various bandwidths
- Design and utilization for the physical network transport facilities for switched access to support trunk reduction activities
Position Requirements:
- Can demonstrate the ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and make decisions that impact technical assignments
- Technical aptitude including ability to understand detailed technical information is required
- Problem resolution and designing is required
- Must perform medium/small size technical tasks with moderate level of complexity
- Working knowledge of Avaya and Aspect auto-dialers; database management and support processes; and statistical reporting processes for system and service metrics
- Working knowledge of IEX, Witness (Verint), Crystal/Business Objects reports, and Aspect CTI
- Working knowledge of Cisco ICM routing processes and system components
- Certification in Aspect Hardware administration
- 2 years of experience with Aspect Spectrum Version 8 or higher
Salary: $11.00 – $14.00 Hourly DOE
