Job Summary:

The Web Development Manager will report to the Director of Web Development and will be responsible for managing a team of web designers/​developers whose primary responsibility will be to create/​modify and manage client’s websites to ensure that they are completed to the specifications of internal and external customers while meeting delivery deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Keep up to date on industry best practices for web design, coding, SEO/​PPC and other web marketing principals and technologies to train and educate others on these practices
  • Provide internal and external teams with daily feedback regarding output and quality.​ Ensuring a strict QA process on all projects is a MUST
  • Coordinate the delivery and communicate the status of hundreds of open projects and campaigns at any time to internal and external customers
  • Work with other internal Yodle teams to ensure that best practices are fully understood and implemented into all of our products and processes to ensure client success and satisfaction
  • Ensuring delivery of web products and advertising campaigns to internal and external customers are on time and of the highest quality and client satisfaction
  • Managing, mentoring and growing a team of web developers/​designers to ensure they understand all aspects of web design/​production and general website knowledge

Position Requirements:

  • Ability to organize team and focus on best practices, particularly regarding coding standards and quality assurance;
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor technical professionals;
  • Experience managing geographically dispersed development teams including off-shore staffing model;
  • Knowledge of IBM products and middleware products (Tibco and Oracle);
  • Minimum 2 years recent experience with web site development;
  • Minimum 4 years experience with programming staff or 4+​ years technical lead experience including leadership, planning, and coordination of development work for 4 large projects;
  • Minimum 7 years experience developing large scale business systems applications;
  • ​S.​ Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems;

Salary: $12.00 – $14.00 Hourly DOE
