Job Description:

Converse Consultants has an immediate opening for a Marketing Coordinator for our Geotechnical Engineering firm.​ Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience performing marketing/​sales, writing text for proposals, and working with clients in this industry.​

Position Requirements:

  • Dependability and strong work ethic with a passion for success
  • Knowledge of local media contacts and publications helpful
  • Quickly learn and understand current and potential clients’ businesses and develop relationships with those clients
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, familiarity with marketing databases, preferably MarketEdge
  • Understanding of construction industry
  • 3 years marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations or related field

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Learn and understand current and potential clients’ businesses and develop relationships
  • Participate in monthly marketing meetings with other Company Marketing members
  • Qualification and Proposal submittals including attendance at pre-submittal meetings, when necessary
  • Create project profile sheets for local and national use
  • Maintenance of project database and client tracking systems
  • Development and maintenance of mailing lists including distribution of marketing collateral
  • Develop and implement annual marketing plan
  • Attend networking functions, as appropriate
  • Preparation for and attendance of tradeshows and special events
  • Public and media relations
  • Market research of potential new clients

Salary: $12,000.00 – $14,000.00 /year
