We are currently searching for a Product Development Associate to assist in R&D Projects at a local food and beverage company.

Position Requirements:

• A. or B.S. degree or equivalent work experience
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Basic writing skills.
• Internet and library, extraction and synthesis of scientific data, and production of reports.
• Relevant work experience in healthcare or biomedical research setting desired, specifically related to Medline search, retrieval of medical articles via
• Familiarity and experience using Medline is a plus.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT) required.
• Ability to conduct library, electronic and Internet searches required.
• Prior experience and knowledge with utilizing large library for information retrieval.
• Understanding of medical terminology.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Export shipment documentation.
• Coordination and reporting of ingredient and finished product analytical and shelf life testing.
• Set up of product demonstrations, as directed.
• Management of ingredients for formulation work.
• Formatting, basic calculations and review of formulas.
• Accurate preparation of beverage and food prototypes from formulas provided.

Salary: $13,000.00 – $15,000.00 /year
