Job Summary:
The Account Director is a business development professional accountable for selling assigned technologies into an assigned territory. This position is the primary point-of-contact for customers of these technologies within this territory.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Motivate the account executives to proactively develop and present Marketing strategies, programs and services as appropriate for each
- Ensure each agency relationship is positive and growing
- Develop a deep understanding of each client’s brand, therapeutic Category, and annual and long-term marketing objectives for the Brand and company
- Leverage senior level relationships to identify new business Opportunities and position the Agency to effectively pursue these Opportunities
- Develop and maintain positive, mutually beneficial relationships with Senior management within each client, including senior personnel who Work with and support the client within their company or their Agencies
- Ensure their account executives are proactively managing each Account and opportunity, adding value at every client interaction, and Consistently exceeding client expectations
