The job of a supermarket manager involves working in a busy retail environment where lots of customers come to buy their weekly requirements and latest products. They are responsible for looking after the daily operations of the store. Primary Function and Purpose

The Nature’s Market Department Manager will be responsible for the maintenance of the
organics’ section of a large grocery store chain.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Manage organics team
  • Adhere to designated hours for scheduling of the department
  • Responsible for ordering dry goods, dairy products, and frozen inventory
  • Put up stock shelves and coolers
  • Maintain attractive aisles and displays
  • Provide coaching and training to subordinates
  • Rotate stock to ensure safe and fresh products to customers

Physical Demands:

  • Physical strength needed for lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Withstanding cooler and freezer temperatures for short periods of time
  • Standing for up to 8 hours a day or more
