Job Summary:

The Business Specialist for IT US Operations is responsible to ensure uninterrupted business operations through the use of common services, standards, methods, tools and infrastructure across the IT US Operations areas

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Measures and monitors customer satisfaction and commits to improving it
  • Ability to draft operations / process documents and presentations that are clear and concise
  • Strong customer focus to provide effective, friendly, professional customer service
  • Proven written and oral skills; ability to respond to requests to Senior Management and Executives both internal and externally
  • Ability to network and exert influence at multiple levels including senior management
  • Experience in managing small to medium sized IT Projects
  • Strong problem solving, organizational and planning skills
  • Good knowledge of railway processes an asset
  • Minimum 5-10 years of relevant railway and IT experience
  • University degree in computer science, engineering or business administration or equivalent business experience
