Job Summary:

Provide leadership and coordination of company financial planning; financial reporting, and budget management functions. Ensure company accounting procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and ensure accounting systems and controls are in accordance with applicable provisions of Sarbanes-Oxley

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accounts receivable and payable analysis
  • Projections and Forecasting
  • Borrowing base reporting on a bi-weekly basis
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Prepare daily job costing reports
  • Analyze general ledger accounts
  • Financial consolidation of multiple locations
  • Cash management /​ banking relations
  • Manage accounting staff
  • Establish and maintain proper internal controls
  • Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Position Requirements:

  • CPA a must
  • Fluent in public company reporting and accounting standards
  • Well versed with revenue recognition and other accounting issues that arise in commercial transactions with large software companies desired
  • Developed business acumen, with ability to understand the company?s business and anticipate the nature and magnitude of issues that could arise in various settings
  • High level of initiative and accuracy, must be energetic, highly flexible and able to work in a quickly changing environment
  • Must be intuitive with excellent problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of automated and financial systems, Great Plains preferred
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • Must have a minimum of five years of functional management experience in accounting, public company experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in all interactions with senior management, corporate departments and all levels of employees, in addition to outside vendors, auditors and regulatory bodies
