Job Description:

This role is responsible for handling all aspects of the inventory process as well as prepare journal entries, monthly and year end closings, fixed assets maintenance and general ledger reconciliations

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide training to other MDC personnel on inventory process improvements
  • Develop controls to reduce inventory variances
  • Daily interaction with Shop Floor Leadership on stock checks
  • Coordinate and lead annual Physical Inventory
  • Monitor and evaluate back orders on a daily basis
  • Monitor daily inventory balance including use of Negative Availability reports
  • Allocation of inbound product (special focus on Customer specific Warehouses)
  • Transactional processing of Returned Goods (RGAs)
  • Resolution of Corrective Action Responses relating to on-hand product (CARs)
  • Reconciliation of shipping and receiving discrepancies (SRDs)
  • Coordination and accounting of daily cycle counts

Position Requirements:

  • Familiar with AIT and RFID technologies
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Military veteran with ammunition/supply background
  • Experience in inventory/accountability discipline
  • 5 yrs minimum experience in ammunition/supply field
  • Two years of college or equivalent work experience

Salary: $12.00 – $13.00 Hourly DOE
