Job Summary:

A Mid-Level Integration Engineer utilizes Sparta proprietary software to enhance customer capabilities based on mission critical needs. Common tasks include system installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and store interface definition files and documentation as directed
  • Prepare a timeline schedule with milestones for development, testing, and delivery of each interface
  • Coordinate customer interface requirements and a delivery schedule
  • Effectively work and communicate with the Implementation Team
  • Work with management to develop and maintain interface policy and procedures
  • Develop, maintain, and properly store customer requirements and acceptance records
  • Provide support to help desk as needed
  • Develop and maintain current specifications for interfaces to be implemented
  • Escalate issues discovered during interface development which may impact the delivery of projects

Position Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as an Integration Specialist or Engineer
  • Basic understanding of C/C++ and Java
  • 1+ year(s) in the Pharmacy Automation Industry
  • Experience writing Unix scripts
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Experience with network analysis tools (e.g. Wireshark)
  • Strong knowledge of networking and network protocols
  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (both remote and in-person)
  • Excellent problem solving skills

Work Hours: Hours will include the possibility of evening and weekend work

Education: Bachelor’s Degree
