Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide coverage at other times as needed
  • Close the fitness center at 7:40 PM daily
  • Perform monthly safety checks on equipment
  • Develop individualized exercise programs for gym members
  • Provide guidance and answers to gym members
  • Oversee upkeep of the fitness center
  • Orients and trains employees in use of equipment and in exercise techniques
  • Troubleshoots and maintains exercise equipment
  • Provide blood pressure and pulse monitoring to gym members
  • Instructs gym members in rehabilitation and injury prevention techniques
  • Teach 6-10 exercises classes weekly
  • Maintain fitness center supplies, members’ clothing and bins.

Position Requirements:

  • PPO with HRA (Health Reimbursement Account)
  • HSA (Health Savings Account) Accumulation with PPO
  • Capacity to teach aerobic classes
  • HMO Only
  • HMO with HRA (Health Reimbursement Account)
  • Familiarity with relaxation, injury prevention and rehabilitation techniques
  • Physical education training Familiarity with exercise equipment and techniques

Salary: $13.00 – $16.00 Hourly DOE
